Blair's character had the potential to be a double crossing femme fatale a la Peggy Cummins in Gun Crazy or Jane Greer in Out of The Past but it was not to be. Foster comes up short as the a classic noir male. Rather than being morally weak and succumbing to the lure of a conniving women, he does all the heavy lifting himself and brings her along for the ride. But it is all good theater. The voice over gives it a sense of inevitability. Fate has cast its lot and nothing can change that. Give it a 6/10 but an A for getting the most out of the material.Evil Woman Blueshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18103228852708853261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1279530091641272518.post-10385378072730599612011-06-20T22:46:57.807-04:002011-06-20T22:46:57.807-04:00Mark, I've enjoyed Cahn's naively iconic s...Mark, I've enjoyed Cahn's naively iconic sci-fi horrors and I've been tempted to sample his work in other genres. You've given me a clue where to start.Samuel Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934870299522899944noreply@blogger.com
